Facilities

It is with a joyful heart that each guest is greeted at Toddhall. We have attempted to create a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere here, with convenient facilities for workshops, lectures and discussion groups.

Six separate meeting rooms (accommodating from 12 to 120 persons) and a beautiful chapel, complete with Wicks Pipe Organ, provide multi-use options. Each meeting room is equipped with restrooms, coffee bar and a full array of optional audio- visual equipment.

Forty-five sleeping rooms, housed in two lodges, may be single, double or triple occupancy, depending on your needs. Each room has a private bath and individually controlled thermostat. All linens are provided.

Also available are The Executive Suite (two double beds, bath, kitchenette, and living room), and Tyndale House, the five bedroom former home of our founders, Charles and Virginia Todd, which is now used for groups up to a maximum of twelve people.

Toddhall’s total sleeping capacity, including sofa-sleepers and rollaways, is one hundred and twenty five.

Hearty home-cooked meals are served cafeteria style in a communal dining room, with an enclosed private space for those groups requiring silence or privacy.

Blackburn Lodge
Our newest meeting space, equipped with an excellent sound system and fireplace, can seat up to 120 persons. A full array of audio-visual equipment is available, including corded and wireless microphones, TV, VCR/DVD player, and a ceiling mounted projector for computer presentations or for wataching tapes or DVDs on the big screen. Homemade quilts, generously donated by one of the many quilting groups who make use of our facility, decorate the walls and add to the ambiance of this popular hall. Named for Father Elliot Blackburn, the former rector of St. George’s Episcopal Church, Blackburn Lodge also has 14 spacious sleeping rooms, each with two twin beds, table, chairs and a couch that pulls out to an additional twin bed.

Commons
This converted barn houses a small meeting area that seats 30. Its cozy country setting with antique accents makes it a favorite of many.

Dining Hall
Toddhall serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in this comfortable dining facility that seats 112 guests at round tables. There is also a silent dining area, located off of the main dining room, that will seat up to 21 people, making our total capacity at any one meal 133. It is pleasantly decorated and easily accessible. A Christian bookstore/gift shop is located here. The kitchen is augmented by volunteers from St. George's, who view their service as a Christian ministry.

St. Cecilia's Chapel
Originally the music room of Charles and Virginia Todd's home, the Chapel of St. Cecilia, named for the patron saint of musicians, is now a consecrated Episcopal chapel. Stained glass windows and a fine pipe organ, which was designed for the room itself, are highlights of this chapel which seats 65. There is also a communion table and an upright piano in the chapel. People of all faiths are invited to use it for worship.

Cranmer Hall (Upper and Lower)
This octagonal building has two floors, each with it’s own meeting room accommodating up to 60 persons. Upper Cranmer, completely finished with Western Cedar paneling and beams, has four walls of floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the country side. A stone fireplace, pull down screen for audio visual needs, piano and foyer with coffee bar completes this frequently requested meeting hall.
Lower Cranmer, accessible via stairs or ramp, is ideal for conducting meetings, small group discussions, craft sessions or watching videos.

Named for the compiler of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, Thomas Cranmer was the Archbishop of Canterbury during the early years of the 16th century.

Tyndale House
Originally part of the Todd’s home, Tyndale is now used exclusively for small groups. Many have found it a perfect fit for youth groups, craft bees and team leadership building. The Tyndale Conference Room, complete with coffee bar and restrooms, can accommodate up to 35 persons while the living room of the house (with fireplace and spectacular view) is perfect for meetings of up to 12. A master bedroom with king sized bed, and four smaller sleeping rooms with twin beds, can sleep from 8-10 comfortably. A full sized kitchen, 3 bathrooms and a screened in porch round out the amenities of Tyndale House.

Wilson Hall
Seating up to 130 persons, Toddhall’s largest meeting room is located in Wilson Lodge. With exposed wood beams and it’s A- framed ceiling, the rustic appeal of this popular meeting space is enhanced with a fireplace, motorized movie screen, sound system and piano. A movable wall separates the comfortably furnished, multi-use foyer / library/ reception area from the main meeting area. Named after The Very Reverend Canon Leslie E. Wilson, a former Interim Rector of St. George Episcopal Church, Wilson is in the very center of the Toddhall complex.

Thirty-one modern sleeping rooms adjoin Wilson Lodge. Each room features complete linens, two twin beds, private shower, table, chairs and individually controlled thermostats. An Executive Suite is also attached to Wilson Lodge. This lovely combination bedroom, living room and kitchenette features two double beds and a fully equipped kitchen.
